Barcelona Cartwheel

May 15th, 2004. Snapshot taken with an Olympus camera from the 70s (or older). My wife and I were briefly in Barcelona, Spain, as part of a conference (see latest journal post). This was my effort to kill a moment of a depression, and our effort to make the trip seem like a lot more fun than it really was.

It's a blurry shot, and slightly atilt, for two reasons. One was that it was a rather gray day out there. Second was that it was the first time we'd tried any kind of action shot like this.

There were more cartwheel photos in front of famous places (you see the National Art Museum of Catalonia in the background of this one), and they got better. But if I'm eventually to post them all, I have to start with this one.
