I've been in the habit lately of drawing just before sleep. I don't know if it's a good habit yet, as over the year's I've trained myself to sleep almost instantly upon reading. It works so well I'm lucky to get through a book a month.
Still, the stuff I want to draw most pops into my head at the latest hours, as the dream-machinery starts to turn. Gears and cogs sticking up out of moss, people dangling from the appendanges of industrial wreckage, and stuff like that.
So this started with wanting to draw a robot and see if I could keep on adding and adding to it. I should try to fill a page that way.
I don't know why it has hands.

Cool - The hands are a nice touch. I'm thinking about doing a 4 panel cartoon strip, Whole story in 4 panels (Which will prob be a bit poo). I've got it all in my head. Just need to draw it. Only thing holding me back at the moment is I want to change my style for it. Make it a bit more inyourface. Less shading and stuff.
This robot guy instantly made me think of the movie Silent Running. An awesome Bruce Dern/Douglas Trumball delight. Made me blub loads when I was a young 'un. Them robots were the mustard!
